Convergence Insufficiency

Convergence Insufficiency is the #1 cause of vision

problems in children!

Vision problems affect up to 6 children in EVERY class! Most are Undiagnosed. Convergence Insufficiency is a common undiagnosed vision problem.

Your child can have 20/20 sight and still suffer the effects of CI!

CI affects a child’s ability to read, learn and perform to

their potential at school.

htsCI affects the eye muscles ability to read and concentrate in class and home. The 20/20 sight test does not test for CI – so your child might be told they have ‘perfect eyes’ when they might still have CI.

CI is best treated with the HTS Home Vision Therapy Program. This program can usually resolve the symptoms – often within just a few months.

CI can cause the eye movements to be slow, jump too much, stutter or lose their place when reading a book or using a computer screen.

If your child has CI, their reading and school performances could be affected. CI is not a ‘seeing problem’, so often glasses alone won’t solve the problem.

If your child has CI they may react in one or more ways, including:

  • •   Avoiding reading and other near visual work as much as possible,
  • •   Attempting to do the work but with decreased understanding,
  • •   Being an "underachiever,"
  • •   Having a short attention span,
  • •   Getting fatigued easily

Research shows CI can be successfully treated in over 75%

of ALL children

Successful treatment of CI can occur in

as little as 12-16 weeks!

Could your child have CI?

Check the
SIGNS of CI.

If you notice ANY sign above, a comprehensive vision therapy examination is recommended
